In the spotlight: WOD Talk

Like we wrote in a previous post, we love reading about crossfit, see athlete features, articles on training, supplements, etc. So this time, we're taking a look at WOD Talk Magazine.
Based in Brea, California, WOD talk magazine issues bi-monthly, available in 3 options:

- print (6 issues: USA $35, Canada $65)
- website access (6 issues: $10)
- iOS subscription or Kindle Fire (6 issues: $14.99)

There is also an option to buy past single issues.

Articles are written about various topics, such as traning, mobility, nutriton, speacial features, etc.
Weaved through the magazine you'll find advertisement of course, but it's with the crossfitter in mind; products, apparel, apps, etc. Admit it, you love that stuff too.

For us, the digital subcription was the best option (print only ships within USA and to Canada) and if we really want it, we can print the pdf version.

Another nice feature is that you can actually read 2 magazines for free, to see if you actually like it.
Great addition to the fast-growing crossfit community!

Foam Rolling, budget style

Ok, it's not quite the same as foam rolling, but during a DIY project at a friend's house (luckily) this came as a little epiphany: a paint roller as a SMR tool. Obviously you can't use for all areas yourself (unless you have a friend that owes you. Oh, wait...) but it's great to treat your quads and calves.

P.S. Dough roller works wonders too.
