Baked Protein Oatmeal

If you're getting tired of eating the same oatmeal breakfast every day, perhaps this is a recipe you should try next.  A good thing about this recipe is also that you can bake it beforehand and heat it up in the morning, saving you time when you are on the run.

This recipe is a Blueberry Bake, but you can use any type of fruit, or leave the fruit out altogether. Make sure you adjust the macros accordingly.


Ingredients

40 grams of oats
40 grams of whey protein *
90 grams of egg whites
55 grams of fresh blueberries
1 cup of water
cinnamon to taste

* We actually used GoNutrition Whey 80, Blueberry Cheesecake flavour.

Heat the oven to 180C (350F)

Mix all the ingredients together, and pour into any type of loaf pan or cake pan you might have.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

Let it cool or eat straight away, top it with a syrup ** or peanut butter.
