Breakfast Waffles

These waffles are slightly different than the protein ones, but are nonetheless a good source of protein & also a bit of fiber.

Since these are non-sweet, they go really well with eggs or other hearty foods like ham or cheese. You can play around with the seasoning, to make them taste to your own liking.

For 2 waffles:

40 grams of unflavored (whey) protein powder
2 egg-whites
1 tbsp of psyllium husk
1 tsp of Italian seasoning

Mix all the ingredients together, make sure you don't have lumps.
Heat your waffle maker and spray it with some non-stick spray. Pour the batter onto the waffle maker and cook them in 3-4 minutes.
